Full Job Description

The placement will run from the summer of 2025 for one year at our HQ in Milton Keynes, allowing you to demonstrate your enthusiasm and apply your knowledge in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This placement will involve a diverse set of skills and qualities to effectively manage and grow our brand's online presence, foster high engagement, build a loyal audience, and support our overall marketing strategy. The successful student will have the opportunity to work closely with both ORBR and VCARB, along with any emerging Red Bull Technology projects. Main Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage the social moderation tool, monitor forums and comments, and report on fan reactions and perceptions.
  • Content Preparation & Distribution: Assist in preparing and distributing social assets to internal departments and partners.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report on social activity performance against KPIs on a race-by-race basis and conduct monthly reviews to refine strategy.
  • Trend Monitoring & Strategy: Develop an understanding of social media channels, best practices, and trends, and lead the distribution of the social media output calendar to engage partners and stakeholders.
  • Team Support: Act as the eyes and ears of the Social team, spotting and championing new trends.

Ability to create engaging, original content and experiment with new formats and strategies, along with strong written and verbal skills to craft compelling posts, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, analytics software, and the ability to analyse metrics and adjust strategies based on data.
  • Good understanding of various platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices, while being able to quickly adjust to changing trends and handling crises or negative feedback professionally.
  • Ensuring accuracy in content, consistency in branding, and understanding the brand's identity and target audience.
  • Managing multiple accounts and campaigns efficiently and working effectively with other departments.

Not only is this a fantastic role, but a chance to gain valuable skills, experience, and network with some of the industry's best!
  • A good salary is just the start; there are many other benefits too such as our bonus scheme, private health care cover, life assurance scheme, company contributed pension scheme, on site gym & fitness classes, daily food allowance, and a cycle to work scheme; but above all, the job satisfaction doesn't get any better than the feeling of making a real contribution to the function of our Grand Prix cars.
