Can you inspire students to critically explore society, culture, and human behaviour? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Sociology Teacher who can ignite curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and make social sciences an exciting and transformative experience for our students. - Take students on a journey through the fascinating world of Sociology, making social issues and theories relevant and engaging.
- Use real-world scenarios, case studies, media analysis, and discussions to bring lessons to life and stimulate intellectual curiosity.
- Encourage students to think critically, question societal norms, and explore the connections between individuals, groups, and institutions.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as sociology clubs, debates, and academic research projects that expand students' learning beyond the classroom. Who You Are:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a passion for sociology and inquiry-based learning.
- Someone who sees Sociology as more than just a subject-it's a lens for understanding the social forces shaping our world.
- An educator who engages every student, adapting lessons to support and challenge learners of all abilities.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a creative, forward-thinking environment. Why Join Us?
- A forward-thinking, supportive school where intellectual curiosity is celebrated.
- A dynamic Sociology department that encourages fresh ideas and innovative teaching methods.
