Specialist Clinical Pharmacist - Clinical Trials and Frailty

We are recruiting for aSpecialist Clinical Pharmacistwho shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff., The purpose of the job is to lead on and be responsible for all aspects of the provision of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) use in Medway NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring that all regulatory, legislative and best practice recommendations are implemented and followed. They will devise and implement a strategic plan for the development of the pharmacy clinical trials service, also being responsible for budget management and expansion of the service.

The postholder is expected to be an integrated member of the Trust's R&I leadership team, supporting with the development and implementation of the medicines related aspects of their strategy.

Additionally, the postholder will support with increasing the research output and leading on innovation in the department.
