Full Job Description

This post, in the Long Term Conditions rotational programme is aimed at pharmacists who have completed their Diploma and are looking to develop their clinical skills is specialist areas. This programme offers the following rotations: Gastroenterology, HIV, Anticoagulation, Immunotherapy (Dermatology & Allergy).

We are looking for enthusiastic pharmacists with demonstrable competencies in hospital pharmacy practice, excellent communication skills and a demonstrable commitment to pharmaceutical care to join our team.

As well as delivering ward-based clinical services, the candidates will have the opportunity to undertake Trust-based management courses, team management and organisational responsibilities (i.e. staff planning, rostering and business planning), taking on a leadership role (i.e. project supervision, training, mentoring and appraisal of junior staff members) and generating reports and leading investigations in line with Directorate priorities(i.e. root cause analysis and finance reporting)
