Full Job Description

Thisis an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluableassessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid role where you will be able to travel to one of our clinics in either Harrogate, Norwich, Exeter and Huddersfield. This role is for a suitably qualified Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, NMC registered nurse, GMC registered Paediatrician, Social Worker, Educational Psychologist, HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist who will workwithin the EvolveNeurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults and Children referred for autismand / or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and their GP. Main duties of the job Therole requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments includingdiagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Autism and / or ADHD usingestablished diagnostic tools. Assessments of Mental health conditions may alsobe required. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the NHS via GP referral. Theclinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely andprofessional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations andinterventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising andsupporting junior staff members depending on experience.

We have a proven track record of providing high qualityassessments and delivering on NHS contracts., HCPC registered PractitionerPsychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist or NMC registered nurse or GMC registered Paediatrician Neurodevelopmental practitionerexperience with specialist training as below Must be eligible to work in the UK Experience in conducting diagnosticNeurodevelopmental / Specialist developmental assessments with children and / oradults Experience working with children and / or adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in aclinical setting Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteriaand appropriate assessment tools for Autism and ADHD Knowledge of differential diagnosis Ideally ADOS-2 / ADI-R trained Ideally QB Trained Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills Ability to work as part of amultidisciplinary team Experience in report writing and recordkeeping Additional qualifications in relevantareas of Autism and / or ADHD Person Specification Qualifications Essential

  • HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist or
  • NMC registered nurse or

  • Desirable
