As a thriving Front of House team, we are looking for a Specialist Physiotherapist or experienced Band 5 seeking a development post to join us at Peterborough City Hospital within our Emergency Department. This role uses excellent communication and teamwork to support patients in returning to their home and preventing unnecessary admissions to hospital wherever possible.   • Cross site & regional professional meetings, To enable Physiotherapy to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient service
  • To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole inpatient team To undertake weekend working as required within service developments To be available to provide Clinical Supervision This role entails 90% Clinical Contact and 10% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans We are dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity within our workforce and warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on encouraging those from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, as well as candidates from our local area.
