Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our new specialist resource provision at Bloxwich Academy. We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher, who has a deep commitment to inclusion, to work within our Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) for pupils with complex SEMH needs; all pupils will have an EHCP. A broad and ambitious curriculum will be on offer; the SRP role will teach across the full curriculum, liaising with other subject and pastoral leaders as necessary to ensure that all pupils can become 'confident, resilient and successful individuals'.
The SRP will open in September 2025, in a new facility, initially working with small groups of Year 7 & 8 pupils; the provision remains part of the main school. Bloxwich Academy is at an exciting stage of its development. Like many schools, we have more pupils with higher needs than ever before, and the successful candidate will be an exceptional addition to the existing team. We are looking for a teacher who has experience in SEND, is committed to professional development and working closely with colleagues and putting children and families at the centre of everything they do.
