Full Job Description
The post holder will be responsible for the effective operational delivery of the integrated front door specialty, as well as for the delivery of specific projects. It is a varied and extensive role.
The post holder will work in partnership with the specialty manager, lead clinician and the dedicated matron ensuring operational issues are addressed in a timely fashion and ensure that the medical division collectively achieves the challenging access, financial and clinical governance standards, ensuring high quality care and patient outcomes., Using project management methodology, the postholder will bring together key projects within the specialty and across the division; leading and monitoring delivery and supporting new projects to become established.
The post holder will have a good understanding of the trusts' performance data and ensure that the teams are ready to respond within this challenging and busy specialty.
The post holder will take lead responsibility for ensuring the specialty benchmarks positively compared to national upper quartile performance and develop a culture of continuous improvement within the specialty.
