Full Job Description

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with 283 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time. At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world through stories that are shared at the right place and at the right time. The Ad Operations team is core to ensuring efficient, secure & sustainable distribution of consumer advertising; in this role, you will design, optimize, and support best-in-class operational solutions that are both locally relevant and globally impactful. We're looking for a stunning, savvy Sr. Ad Operations Specialist to develop and scale campaign execution and also partner closely with the Account Management, Indirect Demand, and Engineering teams to facilitate product rollout, campaign optimization, and policy enforcement. Curiosity, ad tech knowledge, and a meticulous approach are the keys to success. Our ideal candidate is an expert in the Ad ecosystem with a passion for innovative creative formats, delivery best practices, quality assurance, stakeholder insights, and continuous optimization. In this role, you will

  • Assist the team with Quality and Efficiency Measurement Solutions: compile monthly quality and efficiency metrics (e.g., how is our BPO time best being spent) and provide areas for improvement. Partner with Ad Operations Managers on building/analyzing a quality dashboard.
  • Maintain current training documentation updated throughout the lifecycle of the material
  • Manage day-to-day campaign issues or questions with outsourced vendors and be the first tier of technical escalation to troubleshoot
  • Partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to create a pathway to task automation, delegation or elimination
  • Own initial escalations from cross-functional partners (i.e., questionable Ad Policy violation running on the platform, test seat campaigns making noise for Eng/DSE, validate creative length experience in X country, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations Managers to document trafficking/setup, updates, and workflow optimizations.
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams to execute testing for product offering enhancements.
  • Serve as internal Ad Operations point of contact to investigate campaign setup related to Ads Policy, Campaign Delivery Troubleshooting, Engineering alerts/validation, etc.
  • The ideal candidate has:
  • Ad Tech and/or Ad Operations experience supporting Account Management, Sales, Ads Policy/Quality, or Product/Engineering Teams.
  • Well-versed in Campaign Trafficking and Execution, including Order and Creative trafficking, Quality Control, Campaign monitoring, pacing, troubleshooting, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge and experience working on advertising campaigns with a strong foundation in executing workflows that support quality and efficiency.
  • A background in Advertising Systems and Tools (CRM, OMS, Ad Servers, Task Management, Reporting, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Ads Policy, Product, and Engineering.
  • Experience interacting with BPO vendors and managing the vendor's tasks of campaign setup and management, including but not limited to trafficking, QC, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience supporting multiple regions and timezones
  • Additional languages are a plus (French, Italian, Spanish, German)
  • Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner. We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
