Staff Nurse - Medical Infusion Suite

We are recruiting for a Staff Nurse who shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Medical infusion suite cares for patients in an outpatient setting and delivers intravenous medication. The unit is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. You must be competent in cannulation and venepuncture and the delivery of intravenous medication. The role will involve running the unit as nurse in charge during the day and having a good knowledge of intravenous medication delivery.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work independently / autonomously and at times without direct supervision, accountable for their own professional working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.
