The 0-19 Starting Well Service is looking to appoint a Business Support Worker to support the Starting Well Service. This post has varied reception/administration/clerical related duties. The post will be based within the Chester and Chester Rural District. The position is full time 37.5 hours a week A degree of flexibility will be required to support as needed between the locality bases where required across the service., Please download a copy of the job description (see 'documents to download' section below) for full details of the main responsibilities for this role. A small annual fee of £16 per year applies., The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
- NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent/or relevant administration experience, NVQ Level 2 Customer Care, Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and understanding Data Protection Act Desirable criteria
- General office duties e.g. filing, photocopying, faxing, Typing experience Desirable criteria
- Experience of dealing with the public on the telephone and face to face
