Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full - time Rehabilitation Assistant to join the therapy team at the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehab Unit, Abingdon Community Hospital. You will work under the guidance of a team of therapists providing intensive rehabilitation to stroke survivors., Working within a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitation under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered practitioner.You will help the service to provide a high quality, efficient intensive rehabilitation service for adult stroke patients in Oxfordshire.Empowering clients to manage their conditions effectively and maximise their potential to reach their goals of self management, access to their environment and return to previous occupations and involvement in the community.

If you have previous experience providing care or working with people in individual and group settings and have a passion for person centered rehabilitation, this post may well be for you! We are a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking team who work effectively together to deliver high standards of rehabilitation. An active program of in service and competency based training is established, with a strong team ethos of learning and development., This role will require a flexible approach to working with the ability to be available across 7 days of the week in line with service need.
