Full Job Description
The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Recruitment Team at the university are looking for an undergraduate and a postgraduate student to represent us on The Student Room (the UK's largest online student community). The role would include:
- Working with our Official Rep to create and post engaging content and responding to enquirers' posts.
- Creating and writing threads on The Student Room platform to encourage conversations.
- Offering information, advice and guidance to potential applicants.
- Giving insight and providing a positive and informative perspective on all aspects of University life, studying at and being a part of the Manchester Met University community. This role will be remote with occasional online meetings to discuss progress. Those who are shortlisted will be invited to an interview which will consist of a few questions and a task. Interviews for this role will take place the week commencing 7 April 2025 and will be conducted online via Microsoft teams. Dates: Monday 14 April 2025 - 31 August 2025 Times: Flexible - up to 3 hours per week and remote working, Manchester Metropolitan University is committed to supporting the rights, responsibilities, dignity, health and wellbeing of staff and students through our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

- Previous experience of writing blog or media posts is desirable.
- Previous knowledge of The Student Room is desirable. You must also have access to a laptop/PC and internet connection.
