We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated person to join our vibrant Wellbeing team, within the Directorate of Student Support & Success, as a Student Wellbeing Officer for a fixed-term of 10 months to cover maternity leave. The department supports student retention, achievement and satisfaction by providing a range of services to enhance student wellbeing and ensure that all students have access to a range of support appropriate to their needs. The Wellbeing team comprises services that deliver wellbeing advice and guidance, mental health and risk interventions and short-term counselling. Our services are effective, accessible and tailored to the needs of our student community. The service makes a key contribution to the University's mission to support all students, whatever their background, to reach their full potential.

Our team of Student Wellbeing Officers support students in overcoming life and wellbeing barriers to academic achievement and support them in developing skills that will contribute to their success in higher education and into employment.

Student Wellbeing Officers are responsible for the day-to-day provision of complex case management, liaising with colleagues from academic and professional service departments, contributing to risk assessments and providing guidance and support to students.

Salary: £41,300 to £44,623 pa inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
