Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to function as a Publicly Available Information (PAI) Subject Matter Expert (SME). As a PAI SME, you will pioneer the integration of big data solutions into OSINT collection and analysis. You will leverage big data by partnering with data engineers to uncover hidden connections and deliver critical and game-changing intelligence. You will also conduct "deep dive" research on combatant command intelligence requirements and author reports and intelligence analytic products. Your duties will consist of employing advanced collection techniques using a Department of Defense (DoD)-approved Managed Attribution system, training U.S. and partner nations in PAI tradecraft, including travel to the African continent as the combatant command functional expert on PAI. You will coordinate with other DoD intelligence agencies in PAI research as well as develop and provide reports, briefings, and perspectives on specific combatant command threat systems and missions. Furthermore, you will perform customer outreach and ensure dissemination of products and presentations. Additionally, as a PAI SME, you will research and recommend new PAI techniques and technologies, test and evaluate PAI collection software and tools, as well as review and evaluate PAI from various sources and provide recommendations on capability assessments. Additionally, you will propose changes to procedures, policy, and guidance for timely and cost-effective operations as well as support the development of concepts, architectures, and planning for organizational changes and resource management. In doing all of this, you will balance accuracy and expediency in production objectives and track customer satisfaction while complying with Director of National Intelligence (DNI) information-sharing and protection guidance during research and analysis.
- 3+ years of experience in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) or PAI research, collection methods, and multi-source intelligence information systems
- 1+ years of experience writing Open-Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs) and common intelligence reporting methods
- Experience in advanced PAI analytical principles, data manipulation, and data-driven analysis, and working with the national intelligence community and DoD Joint structure
- Experience as a Defense All-Source Analyst or writing ICD 203-compliant all-source products in the military
- Knowledge of geo-enabled PAI and tools provided by the Defense Intelligence Enterprise and advanced PAI research and analysis support to operations training
- Knowledge of the Deep or Dark web
- Ability to succinctly brief client leadership and colleagues, provide tailored content to foreign partners, manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and prioritize appropriately, conduct digital searches, and understand PAI data, platforms, and technologies
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in intelligence analysis
- Completion of a Government or Commercial Training Course such as Advanced Open-Source Tradecraft and Collection, DIA Basic Open-Source Intelligence, CASO, or SANS 487 Course Nice If You Have:
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to show a score of 2/2 on the DLPT or equivalent in the French language
- Possession of excellent analytic and organizational skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of a relevant Government Training Course such as the Basic Open-Source Intelligence Course (BOSIC), Basic Open-Source Course (BOSC) 301 or 302, Basic Open-Source Tradecraft and Collection (BOTC), or Advanced Open-Source Tradecraft and Collection (AOTC) Course
- Completion of Government-provided or Commercially-available OSINT Courses

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
