Full Job Description
The main purpose for this role is to oversee, individually or as part of a team, the welfare and safety of all children during lunch times, ensuring that the children eat meals safely, treat others with respect and follow the school's behaviour policy. This will mainly involve supporting pupils to eat their lunch and supervising them in a specified area of the playground / field during playtime or within the classrooms during inclement weather. This will also encompass facilitating play opportunities and social interaction. Please call the school on should you wish to discuss any aspect of this position in more detail. Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out on-line searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates. This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe.
