Join our dynamic Group Audit and Conduct Investigations (GA&CI) team, where we are committed to excellence in audit and conduct investigations. The Group COO audit team is responsible for providing assurance for all risks across the Group COO function. The team provide specialist assurance across Technology, Cloud, Strategic Change, Payments, and Sourcing., In collaboration with the Audit Director, GCOO and Audit Director, Technology and Six Heads of Audit the Support Manager, this role will provide support to help achieve the team's key objectives for 2025 and the GA&CI strategy. The role will be part of a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment where collaboration and excellence are paramount. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit delivery or similarly related role, excellent communication abilities and a passion for delivering quality outcomes. The candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate will have an innate sense of curiosity and bring fresh perspectives that can help us find innovative ways to identify new risks, trends, insights, lessons learnt and best practices and apply them in our work. What You will be doing:

  • Proactively support the Audit Directors and Heads of Audit with the management and monitoring of the team's audit activities to deliver the assurance plan and functional 2025 strategic must wins.
  • Lead on key 'must win' projects on behalf of the Audit Director, especially in testing automation and innovation and the build out of the audit capability in Lloyds Technology Centre (LTC) in India.
  • Create and contribute to presentations, including helping prepare updates to GA&CI committees on innovation activity across the team.
  • Lead specific research on a wide range of subjects, providing recommendations for solutions where appropriate.
  • Proactively look 'outside in' to support the team to identify new risks, trends, insights, lessons learnt and best practices and apply them in our work.
  • The role will also be required to undertake specific audit delivery and support the wider pool to delivery on the Audit plan. This is expected to be about 30/40% of the role.

  • Technical Knowledge - experienced audit analyst able to undertake audit testing across one or more of our key capabilities including technology infrastructure, cloud and engineering, operational resilience, payments, sourcing and supplier management and transformational change.
  • Data & Analytics - Proficiency in comprehending and integrating data and information from various sources to facilitate effective problem-solving. Ability to apply strong analytical skills to evaluate the efficiency of control environment and uncover potential impacts on the business.
