Full Job Description
Support Worker - Pembroke Dock - Maes Y Coed - £12.60 to £12.80 per hour, Full time 45.5 hours per week., Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Encourage and support individuals in participating in community activities, leisure pursuits, and educational programs.
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that promotes independence and personal development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards.
A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
- A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.

About Maes Y Coed: Maes Y Coed, our newest home in the Pembrokeshire area near Pembroke Dock, comprises four individual flats located on the grounds of its sister service, Bangeston Hall. We take pride in offering personalised care packages tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each adult at Maes Y Coed.
A typical day in the life of working at Maes Y Coed may include
Sign up before 2nd May 2025 and earn £500 when you start a permanent role with us. We will pay you £250 when you complete your shadow shifts and another £250 after 3 months (paid in the next payroll)., Join us for a clear career progression and valuable qualifications - 97% of our managers progressed internally.
- Health plan - after probation.
