Full Job Description
As a Sustainability Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting AESSEAL's sustainability initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on reducing the company's environmental impact, improving energy efficiency, and contributing to a greener future. The position is located within the Business Assurance Department at our Global Headquarters in Rotherham. Coverage of other sites within the UK will be expected as part of the role. The Business Assurance Department assure compliance in Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Environment, Corporate Governance and CSR. The purpose of this job will be to assist in the quality assurance activities, daily administration and to support the sustainability team. This role will also see interactions with other departments, such as Production, Inspection and Design on a day to day basis. The position is located within the Business Assurance Department at our Global Headquarters in Rotherham. Main responsibilities: Carry out day to day departmental admin such as, but not limited to, completion of vendor questionnaires, compiling compliance certification and maintaining documentation. Help collate information and publish management reports on MoPs (Measures of Performance) for the Business. Promotion and adaptation of the continuous improvement approach. Assist colleagues with incident investigations, audits and reports. Assist with the monitoring and analysis of the relevant data associated with net zero and carbon accounting. Assist in administration of waste management paperwork Assist in administration of producer responsibility calculations for packaging N.B this list is not exhaustive, the job holder is required to carry out reasonable tasks within his/her level of skill and ability.
Qualifications required:
- GCSE grade 5 and above in English, 7 in Maths, 6 and above in sciences. A Levels are desirable. Skills & Knowledge:

Working week: 9-5pm, Monday to Friday Salary: Salary will increase after the first 12 months. Delivery to be completed on-site and 20% off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprentice Level 4.
