Full Job Description
Provide business support for a set of Network Rail applications.
What will you be doing?
· Maintain and update reference data for a set of Network Applications to preserve and promote their accuracy, completeness and integrity.
· Manage the creation, transfer and validation of data to and between Network Rail and external systems
· Assist with the implementation of systems development by conducting user acceptance testing
· Assist The Systems Support Analyst in the provision of business support.
· Manage the Service Now call system on behalf of the team, allocating calls to the appropriate team member.
· Monitor performance and availability of a set of Network Rail applications on behalf of business users
· Provide system administration with regard to access, security, and reporting.
· Assist in the identification and implementation of quality and efficiency improvement/change initiatives.
· Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with and reinforces Network Rail's values and behaviours.
· Strong experience of working in a business support environment.
· Good analytical skills in a technical or systems related environment.
· Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
· High level of computer literacy including ability to query and manipulate data.
