Applications are invited for the newly created position of Tax & Treasury Accountant, a role within the Finance Department at the University of South Wales. The role sits within the Financial Control and Compliance Team and will report to the Head of Group Financial Accounting & Taxation. This role will help raise the profile of Finance throughout the University, by developing and supporting the financial and commercial awareness across the Group.

This position is based at Pontypridd Campus at the University of South Wales. The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.

This will be a critical financial role in the Department managing the tax and treasury function for the University and its Subsidiary companies, developing and managing strategic reporting to support the delivery of the University's 2030 strategy.

We are looking for a professionally qualified and experienced self-starter, who is looking for a rare and exciting opportunity to develop and deliver core taxation support and guidance within a complex organisation.

This is a full-time post.
