Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary
Mulberry Park Educate Together Primary Academy is a one form entry school, part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Keynsham, Weston-Super-Mare and Swindon.
We are looking for an excellent part-time (0.6FTE) teacher to join our school to cover PPA.
- Can you actively support our Educate Together ethos and prove you are already living it?
- Do you consider yourself a flexible, forward thinking teacher who can teach throughout a primary school?
- Can you demonstrate the ability to innovate and explore new ideas?
- Can you demonstrate that you can enable children to make very good progress and achieve high standards, while delivering a broad and balanced curriculum?
- Do you believe that education can be optimistic and fun to work in and you should be able to change things?
- Are you flexible, keen to lend a hand and enthusiastic about the opportunities?
If ethical education is vital to you, this is an exciting opportunity to join Educate Together.
Our schools operate under the following principles:
- Equity-based - Through being equitable in our work, all children and staff will have equal access to their rights and, regardless of background, all will be equally respected.
- Aspirational - All of our children have the right to a holistic world class education. All of our work aims to ensure that every child can make progress and achieve well in every aspect of their education.
- Child-centred - Children are at the heart of every decision and activity. Their voices are actively sought and listened to. They play a lead role in shaping their education.
- Collaborative - Our schools aim to be central to the communities they serve.
Our ideal teacher will:
- Be eager to join the Educate Together Academy Trust that has a proven model and track record in teacher support, encouragement and development.
- Understand fully the importance of working closely with families from a diverse background.
- Be familiar with a school culture led by a strong ethos and distinct values.
The Curriculum:
- The unique Learn Together ethical curriculum is taught every day in an integrated way alongside the National Curriculum.
- The Learn Together curriculum covers four strands:
- Moral and Spiritual
- Equality and Justice
- Belief Systems
- Ethics and Environment
We will offer:
- A supportive and inclusive environment.
- A genuine commitment to teacher well-being and development.
- Staff development opportunities.
- The opportunity to build a career in the direction you choose as we grow as a MAT.
This post is not suitable for an ECT. Experience of teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is desirable, but not essential.
Closing date:
April 24th at 9am.
Interviews will be held shortly afterwards.
