The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Computer Science and BTEC Computing to join our vibrant and growing Computing department.
The post holder will undertake an appropriate programme of quality-first teaching, undertake the assessment and recording of students' work and give timely feedback, actively monitoring and following up student punctuality, absences and withdrawals. You will also monitor and support the progress and development of students by delivering centralised resources for the subject, ensuring effective support is provided to students, including meeting SEND/EHCP needs.
Responsibilities will also include contributing to the development of resources, schemes of work, marking policies and teaching strategies in the curriculum area, working with colleagues to formulate aims and objectives for the department and faculty, contributing to the planning activities of the department and contributing to departmental trips and attending events as appropriate.
Loreto Sixth Form College has been awarded a second consecutive outstanding rating in all areas under the latest framework in our December 2022 inspection.
