Full Job Description
Are you ready to make a difference?
At Weston Favell Academy, we don't just teach - we ignite curiosity, spark creativity, and shape the future! We're on the hunt for a dynamic and dedicated Catering/DT Teacher to join our team of committed educators who are changing lives, one lesson at a time.
What we're looking for
Led by Todd Johnson, Senior Executive Principal, Weston Favell Academy offers a vibrant, supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and training. With a passion and a love for learning, you will plan and deliver engaging, interactive (subject) lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best.
To align with our strength of inclusivity, you will create a positive classroom environment with strong classroom management, subject knowledge and communication skills and share your expertise by embracing school activities and events.
If you are starting off in your teaching career, we would welcome you to be part of your journey as you develop your skills as an experienced teacher with our excellent ECT Development Programme and the opportunity to train in-house and alongside other Trust ECTs.
What's in it for you?
Not only will you have the chance to inspire the next generation, but you will receive a competitive salary and amazing benefits. Being part of a successful Multi Academy Trust, we believe in looking after the people who make a huge difference to our children, their families and the communities we serve. That's why we will give you a Perkbox account giving 24/7 access to global and local perks and discounts from the biggest brands all year round. We recognise your value and will also invest in your health and wellbeing with the support of our Employee Assistance Programme and endless life resources to help in all aspects of your life.
Locally, we have so much to offer, with a swimming pool and fitness suite on site, free on-site parking, off-site PPA at the beginning and end of the day, and so many more benefits, but don't take our word for it; contact dhendle@westonfavellacademy.org to arrange a visit and see for yourself!
