Avon Valley Academy is looking to appoint a highly skilled Teacher of Computing to join its friendly and dedicated Mathematics and Business Department, with effect from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT, who is passionate about helping every student to succeed.

Contract: Fixed Term (until 31st August 2026). Other: Suitable for ECTs (NQTs)

The successful candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range (Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 4) and will be a team player happy to collaborate and share ideas with other teachers within the Department. QTS status is essential for the role.

• Is an effective team member who can contribute positively to the work in the Mathematics and Business Department;
• Has a positive, cheerful outlook with a good sense of humour;
• Is able to forge good relationships with students and staff;
• Is able to work hard and remain calm under pressure;
• Has a desire to work within the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) structure.
