TEACHER OF ECONOMICS (full time however part time will be considered)

There is potential for a TLR for a suitably experienced and qualified candidate

Required September 2025

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Are you passionate about your subject and about how to engage young people so they achieve their very best? Do you enjoy working with others to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning?

We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to join our highly committed, supportive and experienced department. This post is suitable for experienced practitioners or ECT's. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range including A level. Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.

Our Business Studies and Economics Department is well resourced and you will have access to a range of exciting activities and trips. The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Economics to encourage, motivate and engage our students and continue to raise standards in this high performing department. The ability to teach a second subject is desirable.

Our oversubscribed school again achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.
