Salford City Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Teacher of English. We wish to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher who can make a significant contribution to the English Department on their journey of sustained improvement.
The English department at Salford City Academy has achieved strong outcomes, with results improving year on year. In 2024, the English Department achieved outcomes for both English Literature that were above national average and in line with national average for English Language. The English team at Salford City Academy is an exciting team to join, with the department recently being recognised with the teamwork award. The department benefits from excellent leadership with a highly experienced Head of Department along with two TLR holders with responsibility for KS4 and KS4 respectively. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, supportive, and experienced team with improving the life chances for our students at the core of their values.
