We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to join this highly committed, experienced and hard-working department on a fixed term maternity cover contract. Great Baddow High School competes successfully in a number of sports at district, county and national level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range including KS4 and BTEC Level 3 Sport qualification and must have proven success across the key stages. A desire and commitment to contribute to extra-curricular sports provision is essential. This post is suitable for ECT's.

Our PE department is well resourced and we have extensive outdoor track, field, 3G playing surface (7 aside) and court facilities as well as our indoor sports hall, gym, dance studio and refurbished swimming pool. We are currently undergoing ground works for a new state of the art 3G astro pitch (11 aside) that will have changing rooms and storage facilities.

Staff morale is high at our school; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.

Our oversubscribed school again achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in June 2022 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.
