Full Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and committed Physical Education Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5), ensuring that students are motivated and challenged to reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced department in a supportive and ambitious school community. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Use innovative and inclusive teaching strategies to inspire students and promote lifelong participation in physical activity.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the delivery of a broad and balanced PE programme.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, sportsmanship, and engagement in lessons.
- Support and lead extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher with a passion for Physical Education and Sport. You will have: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Experience teaching Physical Education across KS3 and KS4.
- A commitment to promoting health, well-being, and an active lifestyle among students.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
