Teacher of Computer Science

(ability to teach iMedia desirable)

In their most recent report, Ofsted described our standards as 'high', and said that 'relationships between pupils and teachers are typically strong and pupils trust teachers to help them improve their work'. Inspectors noted that 'staff are proud to be part of the school community' and 'they are highly motivated because they feel valued'

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an environment where students' behaviour is impeccable, where they treat each other and staff with real respect, have a genuine enjoyment of school and enjoy their learning. The Academy is on the road to outstanding and has a relentless drive and determination to ensure the best possible education for students in our care.

We are looking to recruit outstanding practitioners who are innovative and can inspire students aged 11 - 16 to achieve their full potential and continue their enjoyment of school. We are looking for a practitioner with Computing experience as essential and iMedia experience as desirable.

This department consistently achieves excellent results, so a track record of achieving excellent value added would also be preferable.

If you feel you have the teaching skills to join an exceptional department, we welcome your application.

We would warmly welcome applications from ECT's and experienced teachers.
