Full Job Description
St Edward's Oxford is looking for a well-qualified, full-time Teacher of Physics to join a thriving department from September 2025.
You will teach Physics at GCSE and A Level, as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma in the Sixth Form. You will also be willing to participate fully in the broader life of the School.
We are seeking an individual with a good degree and experience of working with children or young people. A post-graduate teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential.
St Edward's has its own salary scale and benefits; accommodation in North Oxford may be available.
About the Department
The Physics Department consists of five Physics laboratories, all served by a full time, well qualified technician together with a part time technician. The Department is exceptionally well resourced with an extensive range of modern and traditional practical equipment and IT resources. Innovation and experimentation are encouraged and supported, and members of the Department are expected to keep up to date with current best practice.
