Anzuk are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our client schools in central Portsmouth. The School is a two form entry primary school and the role will be full time and on a long term basis

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dedicated teaching staff, fostering a positive learning environment, and empowering students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
+ Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning, ensuring that individual educational goals are met.
+ Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interventions.
+ Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
+ Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and conflict resolution among students.

+ A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
+ Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
+ Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is essential.
