Full Job Description
Providing 1:1 support
Delivering group activities from the teachers planning
Preparing and setting up resources
Using your own initiative
Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children
Requirements:
Have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS (That is on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed)
References that can be contacted to ensure the last 2 years of employment are covered.

Team Educate are recruiting for passionate teaching assistants who specialise in working with children within an educational setting.
As a teaching assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1-1 basis or within small groups to support their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. The teaching assistant we are looking for will be confident working with KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4 pupils, in a mainstream primary & secondary school environments.
Desirable Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
High expectations of the children in their care, + GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
