Full Job Description

Immersed in a Christian community, each individual is encouraged, challenged and nurtured to learn and grow to achieve their full potential. The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 1 Teaching Assistant - Welfare, to join our friendly and caring school team. They will need to:

  • have high standards and expectations in all areas of school life and will be committed to a teamwork approach
  • supervise pupils during mid day break in the dining hall, toilets, classrooms and school premises
  • support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour
  • assist individual pupils with eating if required
  • clean spillages and ensure that tables are clean during meal times
  • establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs
  • promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities
  • assist with first aid, sickness and other welfare issues

    Salary: Grade 2, £2,737 - £2,780 per annum. £12.26 - £12.45 per hour
  • 5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week working 39 weeks per year
