Full Job Description
This is a 12 month contract and you will provide a high quality support service to all members of the team within Families First., You will coordinate and support of the management functions of the Families First team and provide flexible support to team members in order to meet the needs of our service. Duties of the post include:
- Effective communication and liaison between the team and service users
- Effective communication with professionals from other agencies and senior management teams.
- Provision of flexible professional support to team members
- To provide a direct administrative support to the management of the Service Team, particularly in relation to performance management tasks and coordination of team activity
- Ensure data is up to date and made available as required
- Research, prepare and supply information as required via discoverer and other methods, including statistics, tracking information and producing reports
- Co-ordinate meetings including booking venues, sending invitations, organising agendas, gathering information, taking minutes and following up associated action points, Don't see the perfect role for you right now? This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer. We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative., You should have a NVQ 3 Business Administration (or equivalent)
