In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and we implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products and processes - all while providing customer support to our clients. Our Team: Sovereign debt is the cornerstone of global finance and the largest and most liquid asset class in fixed income. We work closely with Treasuries and Central Banks around the world to onboard their debt securities on Bloomberg in a timely manner, ensuring excellent data quality. Information about the issuance of bonds by governments is time-sensitive and often market-moving, and something a lot of our clients track carefully. By using technology, domain expertise, and relationships with Issuers we aim to be the best data and analytics platform in the market. What's the role? We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Team Leader to support regional sovereign debt data and maintenance. • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of domain experts and data management professionals who are experts in their field through processing time-sensitive, high-quality financial data, data analysis, and project management
  • Lead large-scale programs (technical and operational) with enterprise-wide influence through effective data governance, cross-team organization, dependency, risk and issue management, and leadership engagement
  • Identify and implement improvements to schemas, workflows, and operational processes
  • Ensure consistency and quality while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to evolve the role, workflow, and operating procedures to ensure consistency in data quality and timeliness
  • Solid grasp of technologies (python, UNIX, GitHub, data visualization tools)
  • Manage and mentor team on large and sophisticated data projects and business initiatives
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide insights on system designs, code reviews and other relevant areas

Please note we use years of experience as a guide, but we certainly will consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.

  • Ability to build influential relationships with multiple internal and external clients and partners
  • Creative and flexible approach to problem solving, aided by strong data analysis skills
  • Ability to set strategy and manage the product's technology development roadmap
  • We'd love to see:
