Are you an experienced, enthusiastic leader looking to make a meaningful impact in social care? United Response is seeking aTeam Manager to oversee our supported living services in East Cornwall. This role is ideal for someone ready to bring their expertise and compassionate leadership to our dedicated team supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism., As a Team Manager, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations across our services inSaltash, Liskeard, and St Austell. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for the people we support, creating a positive, person-centered environment that promotes independence and active participation in the community.,
- Leadership & Support: Provide hands-on guidance and constructive feedback to improve quality, person-centered care, and positive behavioral support.
- Staff Supervision: Conduct regular supervision meetings and facilitate team sessions to ensure staff remain motivated, informed, and supported.
- Individual Support Plans: Ensure support plans are up-to-date and thoroughly communicated, fostering individual growth and well-being.
- Community Engagement: Help those we support to build strong connections within their local neighborhoods, encouraging greater independence and community involvement.
To succeed as a Team Manager at United Response, you will need: - Full UK Driving Licence: Travel throughout East Cornwall is required.
- Extensive Social Care Experience: Particularly with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
- Supervisory Skills: A proven track record in managing and motivating teams.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or a commitment to work toward it).
- Personal Qualities: Compassion, resilience, and a passion for social care to inspire both staff and those we support.
Competitive Salary: £28,275 per annum plus a car user allowance. - Paid Leave: 20 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, with increases after 3 and 5 years of service.
