Full Job Description
- Providing warm hospitality and great customer service to all our customers, members and guests.
- Working on reception and offering insights about the hostel and the local area, ensuring every guest feels informed and welcomed.
- Utilising our systems for efficient guest check-ins and check-outs and food & beverage sales and service.
- Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties, ensuring a comfortable and clean environment for all guests.
- Assisting in the preparation of food in the kitchen and serving food and drinks with genuine warmth, hospitality, and pride that will influence in more sales. Suggesting enjoying dinner with us or offering a beverage or dessert as you assist with table service, ensuring a diverse and welcoming experience for all guests.

You're in the right place to find out all about our benefits. - Competitive hourly rate: We offer a pay of £11.44 per hour on a flexible contract for 25 hours per week which can be flexed up to a maximum of 42.50 hours depending on business levels and can be offered on a permanent or temporary basis.

Nestled in a rural setting YHA Stratford upon Avon currently has capacity for 160 persons with a variety of rooms, many with en suite, four external deluxe camping pods (the only ones in the network) and two bell tents till the end of October. We welcome guests from all over the world with a range of families, individuals and groups, many of whom come, though not exclusively, for the Stratford upon Avon experience. The hostel is located in the village of Alveston which is approx. 2 miles out of the town centre with a regular bus service and good walking route in. Our hostel offers an entirely distinctive workplace, far from the ordinary office setting.
