The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work collaboratively with global technology companies, cutting edge SMEs and academia to deliver the optimal solution for each client., As a Technical Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing APIs, databases, and enterprise applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring system integrity, performance optimisation, and seamless integration across platforms. Your expertise in API management, database operations, and enterprise system support will be essential to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimise system performance, and implement best practices in application development. You will also provide technical leadership, mentoring team members on development methodologies, source control management, and problem-solving approaches to enhance efficiency and maintain codebase integrity. In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, and manage REST APIs (XML, JSON) to support enterprise applications.
- Conduct and manage database extractions and copies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate on and support complex enterprise systems, troubleshooting issues and optimising performance.
- Guide and mentor team members on best practices in application development and problem-solving.
- Utilise Subversion/Git for source control and version management to maintain codebase integrity., Salary, remote work... Define all the criteria that are important to you.

- Advanced proficiency in designing and managing RESTful APIs (XML, JSON).
- Strong experience with SQL for data management and query optimisation.
- Proven expertise in developing applications using C#/ASP.NET frameworks.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory services.
- Proficient in using Subversion/Git for source control and version management.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong technical background in application architecture, enterprise systems, and API development. You should have extensive experience designing and managing RESTful APIs, SQL databases, and enterprise-level applications. A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to challenge existing solutions while proposing innovative improvements are key to success. You should also have hands-on experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory services, and source control management tools such as Subversion and Git. Familiarity with infrastructure engineering principles and healthcare applications will be considered an advantage. We're looking for a range of the following:
