This role is responsible for inputting into the food safety and product quality systems across UK sites. Responsible for acting as a key member of the Technical Services team, whilst ensuring that compliance standards are fit for purpose. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to maintain and enhance our quality standards and manage/ control documentation across sites. What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage a team of Colleagues to ensure that the KPIs are met in full and on time.
• Develop and maintain a robust Quality Management System that meets legal requirements and complies with customer Codes of Practice and Guidelines, along with coordinating an internal audit programme that challenges and enables the sites to progress
• With the support of the Technical Systems & Compliance Manager, maintain and develop the UK sites HACCP/ TACCP/ Allergen Risk assessments along with other technical based risk assessments to achieve best practice and mitigate risk.
• Support investigations into non conforming products and processes, collaborating with the Sites Technical and Operations team to carry out root cause analysis.
• Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement. Complete trending/ KPI reports to inform teams regarding trends
Who You Are:
• Proven experience in a similar compliance role within the food industry.
• HACCP level 3
• Food Safety level 3
• Proficiency in using quality management software or tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance standards
• Familiarity with HACCP and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
