Job dimensions

To manage and develop a technical Sealing & Bonding team. To provide technical support to, distribution partners, customers, internal stakeholders & Bostik Academy

Activities

Business Support: provide technical support on all aspects of Bostik S&B products, by means of application and clear usage guidance, literature and specification performances. Liaising with Bostik development team to evaluate products during the product development phases, ensuring technical sign off is implemented. A positive and inquisitive approach to provide solutions is required.

Benchmark testing of NPD & competitor analysis.

Support new technology within UK business.

Participation/design training & installation videos to be used for internal & external clients.

Distribution & Customer Support: implement strategic training and technical advice relating to Sealing & Bonding products. Ensure team support is provided to our distribution partners by means of attendance of trade mornings, staff training seminars & sales meetings and trade shows.

The ability to organise training seminars with other Bostik stakeholders, to ensure impactful delivery is achieved.

To deliver training at both internal and external venues via Bostik Academy.

To maintain a continuous dialogue with partners and continue to grow relationships with contractors.

Technical compliance support: this will include attendance to trade body meetings/seminars. Working with category managers to ensure product certification and compliance regulations are up-to date. Reporting of market intelligence to the business.

NPD & Future Development: Working closely with the local/global R&D department in order to gain advanced knowledge of sealing and bonding products.

The role will require excellent self-motivation and time management. On occasions work outside of normal office hours maybe required and overnight stays away from home & overseas travel.

Qualifications / experience required

A full UK driving license is required. Experience of Sealing & Bonding products and experience within this industry in a technical capacity are required
