Full Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the development teams and the business, clarifying requests, shaping requirements and feeding into the backlog and longer term roadmap.
- Collaborate closely with the team to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
- Write clear, concise and actionable user stories that align with project goals.
- Work closely with customers to understand their evolving needs and priorities, ensuring alignment in future releases and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the product.
- Coordinate across multiple product teams to proactively manage dependencies and drive cross team collaboration to deliver project outcomes.
- Manage and triage reported support issues for the team.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects wider business priorities and product strategy.
- Work alongside developers to build a quality product which customers will love, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, 3 amigos discussions and demos.
- Work to improve cross-team communication and alignment on requirements, helping to streamline delivery.
- Help facilitate the agile team, running and participating in ceremonies (retrospective, planning, discovery)
Experience in agile software product management; from inception; requirement gathering and prioritisation through to launch. Preferably in a complex domain. - Experience in managing a live evolving product, prioritising feature requests from stakeholders and making value driven decisions. This could include deriving metrics for measuring value.
- Facilitation skills, and ability to gather requirements from meetings, technical specifications and process flows.
- Stakeholder engagement skills and experience.
- Excellent communication skills showing the ability to summarise complex problems and recommend concise plans of action, translating for non-technical audiences.
- Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development, and a willingness to get stuck into the technical detail of complex services and use cases.
- A passion for clean tech and a strong desire to contribute to the decarbonization of the planet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience consulting or coaching in a professional services environment; working internationally; or in the energy sector (desirable)
