Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Sales team, specifically a Technical Sales Engineer within our Rigs & Tooling Division.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will be leading on the sales of our Drilling Tooling, Borehole Packers, Rotary, Dynamic Sampling and CPT Rigs, as well as associated borehole installation materials. Therefore, experience in these areas would be extremely advantageous along with a proven background in a results driven Sales, Technical Support or Product Training role.

This role will require regular travel as we collaborate with customers and suppliers all over the UK. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Ideally, you might be based in the North East of England but we are open minded to talking to individuals who may work remotely if you have the skill set and determination that we are looking for.

Key Duties will include:

· Responsible for Sales of Drilling Tooling, Borehole Packers, Rotary & CPT Rigs as well as all associated borehole installation materials.

· Proactively identify new customers and all sales opportunities.

· Develop and maintain relationships with our key accounts.

· Provide ongoing and proactive technical support.

· Give product demonstrations and training.

· Prepare and provide quotations to customers.

· Deal with product suppliers.

· Identify new product opportunities to strengthen our portfolio.

· Help develop and execute a growth strategy and business plan for the division.

· Stay up to date with market information and developments.

· Must be fully computer literate.

  • Technical Sales: 1 year (preferred)

  • 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays).

    37.5 hours per week, 8.30am -5.00pm
