Technical Services Associate - Sustainability Content Creator

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students who are fully registered with Jobs4Students (this includes having attended a right to work appointment) to apply for. The Technical Services Operations team are seeking a student to support the Sustainability Officer with content creation and communications. Duties to include:

• Filming of Sustainability activity within Technical Services which can be used for internal and external websites.
• Capture impactful Sustainability images from Technical Services.
• Provide support with the design and creation of Sustainability content to Technical Services which will be hosted on SharePoint.
• Assist with Sustainability newsletters updates, copy, writing.
• Attend Technical Services Sustainability Committee meetings where required.
• Contribute to the design and content of documents and guidance resources with respect to Sustainability.
• Support the roll out of the Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework (LEAF).
• Support for other Sustainability projects as appropriate and required.

• Have experience in filming and photography
• Strong writing skills
• Creative abilities for designing documents and materials
• Have an interest or experience in sustainability agenda
• Able to use personal laptop
• Excellent customer service skills
• Are punctual and reliable
