Full Job Description

As a Technology Project Lead, you will support the Senior Technology Project Manager in monitoring the Club's portfolio of technology projects, including New Stadium technology implementation projects. Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include:

  • Arranging and taking actions for project working groups / project team meetings
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans to ensure project work and responsibilities are completed within agreed cost and timescales
  • Leading project meetings on the agreed agenda to gather relevant updates relating to actions and provide project updates where necessary
  • Working collaboratively with Project Leads to monitor project progress against approved budgets and timescales, providing support where required to address issues, risks and blockages to successful delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate performance and delivery data on all live projects to enable progress to be effectively monitored
  • Compiling high quality management information to provide management with a clear view of the current status of the technology project portfolio
  • Supporting the Senior Technology Project Manager in managing the evaluation and processing of technology change requests.
  • Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for an individual who has previous experience and knowledge of project management, preferably with a technology focus and has led and managed a wide range of technology projects. If you are IT (Information Technology) minded and forward thinking, enjoy working as part of a team and have a proactive 'can-do' approach to your work then we at Everton Football Club would love to hear from you! This position is on an 18 months fixed-term contract and will be contracted to 35 hours per week. This role is office based at a minimum of 3 days a week, with the opportunity to work flexibly with our Hybrid working approach on the successful completion of the probationary period when possible. As this role is to support the Club's portfolio, there will be a requirement to work from other Club sites when requested but predominantly the location for this role is within our Club's iconic headquarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool.
