Our organisation is all about people - the people who live in our homes, the people in the communities we serve and the people we work with. So, it's no surprise that we recruit for attitude and behaviour which are central to us delivering great experiences for everyone!
We employ people who are passionate about making a difference who can take responsibility and get things done. And we have developed an agile, flexible culture which supports people to do this.
We provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester and have big plans to build more over the next five years. Maintaining our tenancies is key to this and we are looking for someone to help us do this.
We need someone who is customer focused, who will encourage customers with a wide range of needs to successfully manage their tenancy and live independently. Someone who will provide early intervention, guidance and assistance to customers who are most at risk of failing to sustain their tenancy, from before and during their tenancy.
Working as part of a team, we are looking for someone who can work with customers with complex needs and who would be happy to tailor the service to meet the need of our customers. But it's not just about support and advice, we're looking for someone who can understand customer demand trends and sustainment trigger points, using customer data to inform best approaches to deliver sustainment services. Ideally someone who has worked in a similar role in social housing.
We're looking for those who have a willingness to work outside normal office hours (including occasional evenings & weekends) and you must have the ability to drive and have access to a car. Irwell Valley Homes is a great place to work!
We work in an agile way, pay good salaries, offer a great range of benefits and support colleagues to learn and grow, because we want to attract and retain the very best people to help us serve our customers.
So if you have knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and good practice and have experience of working in a sustainment or community-based support service with experience of applying for benefits and benefit legislation - we'd love you to join our team! Applicants will be sent a scenario based assessment to complete and return, if selected for interview.
