Full Job Description

At Surgical Centre Gillingham we undertake a range of day case procedures including ophthalmology, orthopaedics, general surgery and endoscopy. This is a full-time permanent position. As our Theatre Team Leader reporting into our Theatre Manager, Paula, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the department and deputising for the Theatre Manager
  • Provide ideas and work practice to improve quality and maintain high standards of evidenced based theatre practice
  • Support informal and formal HR processes within the department i.e. sickness management, 1:1 meetings and appraisals
  • Participate in audit, ordering and stock management processes

  • 5 years post qualification experience in operating theatre and management processes
  • committed to your own continuing medical education and professional development
  • Able to take full and independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision.

    A salary range of £43,255 - £49,585 per annum based on experience
