Full Job Description
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and threat analyses using security tools and threat intelligence.
- Monitor and respond to emerging threat intelligence and vulnerabilities, collaborating with stakeholders and business units across Centrica.
- Utilize Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to enhance endpoint protection.
- Manage and triage findings from various security tools.
- Document vulnerabilities, remediation efforts, and manage security incidents.
- Analyze security data and provide insights to wider teams, including cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Infrastructure/External Attack Surface Management).
- Stay updated on industry trends and attacker techniques.
- Collaborate with our threat-informed defence functions to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Experience in cybersecurity, focusing on threat and vulnerability management. - Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred and a strong understanding of security frameworks and standards.
- Experience with Penetration testing
- Hands-on experience with security tools, including but not limited to vulnerability management tools, EDR, NDR, SIEM, Qualys etc
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong team player.
- Enthusiastic Desirable Attributes:
- Experience with additional security tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
