Full Job Description

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and threat analyses using security tools and threat intelligence.
  • Monitor and respond to emerging threat intelligence and vulnerabilities, collaborating with stakeholders and business units across Centrica.
  • Utilize Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to enhance endpoint protection.
  • Manage and triage findings from various security tools.
  • Document vulnerabilities, remediation efforts, and manage security incidents.
  • Analyze security data and provide insights to wider teams, including cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Infrastructure/External Attack Surface Management).
  • Stay updated on industry trends and attacker techniques.
  • Collaborate with our threat-informed defence functions to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

    Experience in cybersecurity, focusing on threat and vulnerability management.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred and a strong understanding of security frameworks and standards.
  • Experience with Penetration testing
  • Hands-on experience with security tools, including but not limited to vulnerability management tools, EDR, NDR, SIEM, Qualys etc
  • Proactive mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.

  • Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience with additional security tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure)., Disability Confident
