  • .fit_to_content { width: 100.0%; height: auto; } Have you ever considered becoming an Engineer within the Medical Gas Industry?We have opportunities available for Trainee Installation Engineers to join our team in the South.You will need:Hold a full UK Driving licence (Company vehicle provided after probationary period)Be able to work away from home on occasion.Preferable Skills:Some experience working on a construction site.Basic Brazing/ Pipefitting/ Plumbing skillsYou will be buddied up with an experienced Engineer during your training. We are looking for someone who ing to learn and grow with the Company. As long as you have the right attitude, we can teach the rest.During this training period, you will:Build skills to install / service medical gas pipework to HTM 02-01 standards.Build skills to install, service and commission medical gas supply equipment.Complete all necessary training and assessment to work towards a qualified medical gas engineer.Work with a qualified Installer gaining on-the-job experience.Assist with the installation of new machines and equipment.Promptly carry out Installation and maintenance on customer sites.Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment.Assist in maintaining Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental accreditations.Perform related tasks as required.You will report to the Regional Engineer.To succeed, you need:Experience working on a construction site/welding/plumbing.A minimum of 5 GCSEs and have Grade 4/C (or equivalent) or above including the following subjects - Maths, English and Science.Knowledge of common tools and their application.Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical principles.Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.Enthusiastic, eager to learn, proactive, strong sense of ownership, determined and flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment and demand from the client or supervisor.You have an eagerness to grow and learn within your role.You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.You live in the Southeast side of England.Have PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.Hold a full UK Driving licence.You have the valid right to work in the UK for you to be eligible for this role.In return, we offer:We believe in encouraging a learning culture where global mobility is an important enabler for growth.Our learning culture supports you on your journey: benefit from our individual learning opportunities (LinkedIn Learning e.g.), our feedback culture, the internal job portal, etc. We offer an excellent benefits package including health insurance, paid leave and retirement benefits.Are you missing something?
