On a day to day basis, the successful Transport & Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing the Wincanton fleet. The key responsibilities will include:

• Managing all aspects of our Operator Licence
• Dealing with legal compliance, tachograph rules and drivers' infringements
• Taking appropriate action against any infringements
• Ensuring transport operations meet all relevant transport and health and safety legislation
• Ensuring all aspects of fleet maintenance and scheduling are being met by working closely with our on-site workshop
• Working alongside our experienced team
• Ensuring compliance with CRH, Tarmac and Industry reporting requirements
  
  Previous experience in Transport Management and a working knowledge of driver regulations essential
• Experience in compliance management essential with excellent organisational skills a must
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and legal processes
• A proactive, flexible approach required, The ideal candidate will need to be adaptable and used to working under pressure in a constantly changing environment. As a Transport & Compliance Manager, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, organisational capabilities, and a drive for efficiency in all transport-related activities.
